POTASSIUM  STEARATE is made using high quality stearic acid and exhibits the following properties :

Good gelling and thickening action, relatively high solubility in hydrocarbon than other metallic stearates, excellent heat stability

It is partially insoluble in water, alcohol, ether, soluble in alkali, petrolatum, turpentine oil; forms gels in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons.

The product is distinctively used in food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic.
