ALUMINIUM STEARATE is made using high quality stearic acid and exhibits the following properties

Good gelling and thickening action, excellent water repellant, good / low dropping point, transparency, good adhesion to metal, a synergistic effect with zinc stearate or calcium stearate, relatively high solubility in hydrocarbon than other metallic stearates.

It is insoluble in water and alcohol, ether; but soluble in benzene, acids or common solvents when hot.

Broadly used in lubricanting grease, protective coating suspension, rubber, plastics etc. The quality also suitable to use in creams and ointments.
